Following on from our 'Making research information come to you' session we're rounding up some more guides and videos on how to set-up search alerts from various resources. You can find guides for Web of Science (Arts & Humanities/Social Sciences Citation Index) and Scopus in our previous blogpost.
Some journal homepages will have an option to set-up an email alert or have a RSS feed as a way of letting you know when a new issue is published, and what's listed in the table of contents.
However, not all journal offer this, so there are a couple of services that specialise in providing table of content alerts and RSS feeds: Zetoc
To use the alerting service form Zetoc you will need to login using the institutional login procedure.
